Today, there are a plethora of social media tools to use with Twitter.
If you are becoming fairly successful using Twitter, by adding the use of several tools will allow you to save a lot of precious time.
Many of my coaching clients have asked me how I best manage my time while using social sites.
Here a a few of my top tips: 1.
Use BackTweets to see Tweets that link back to a particular website.
The advanced search option lets you select a date range.

Retweet (RT) more often than you think you need to.
RT's show you care about your followers, and they will care more about you too.

Use the Twitter search tool to search for topics related to your business, then reply to people tweeting about it.
Join the conversation.
It is the best way I have found to get new quality followers.
4.
Keep tweets to 120 characters minus the length of your username, then about 4 less than that.
It makes it easier to RT you that way.
5.
Design free profile at Twitbacks 6.
Download the TweetDeck application.
This alone will give you back valuable time and add several additional features.
7.
Head to Refollow.
com to build your audience.
8.
Do not use Auto-DMs.
It is just like using an auto-reply on your email; who likes those? Nobody.
9.
Add /info to the middle of any bit.
ly URL to see who shared that URL on Twitter and what they said about it.
While there are different things for each of the individual businesses, the basic usage really remains the same - only the conversations are different.
The 'goal' with social media is about creating relationships, not simply putting advertising out there over and over.
