How to Adjust the Color on a DOSBox
- 1). Click the "Start" menu, followed by "All Programs," "DOSBox," "Configuration" and "Edit Configuration." This opens the DOSBox configuration menu.
- 2). Scroll down to the "[DOSBox]" section. Under "#Machine" is a list of all possible video modes DOSBox can display.
- 3). Enter the video mode you want to use after "Machine=." For example, if you want to have DOSBox display colors in the CGA video mode, enter "Machine=CGA."
- 4). Click "File" at the top of the window and select "Save" to save your changes. DOSBox now displays colors in the video mode you selected.
