Dimitry Wins "Project Runway All-Stars" 4

The winner of Project RunwaySeason 10, Dmitry Sholokhov has done it again, winning the fourth season of Project Runway All Stars (#PRAllstars) earlier this month with a collection inspired by the modern, cosmopolitan woman who loves one-of-a-kind pieces.

The New York-based, Belarus-born designer beat out the other top finalists, Helen Castillo (who won more Project Runway challenges than any other contestant in Season 12 but didn't get to show at fashion week) and Sonjia Williams (who had previously faced off with him during Season 10).

Sholokhov's winning collection was created in only four days before the finale. Sholokhov’s designs walked the finale runway show at New York’s hottest new venue, the Diamond Horseshoe at the Paramount Hotel, and was voted on by Project RunwayAll Stars host Alyssa Milano, judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, mentor Zanna Roberts, and guest judges designer Zac Posen (a Project Runway regular) and actress Mira Sorvino.

Sholokhov, an innovative Parsons grad, who has a slew of awards under his belt—GenART Award, Saga Furs Design Competition Award, Gap Design Competition Award—previously won 24 Hour Cat Walk as well as Project Runway Season 10. He launched his own line in 2013.

Sholokhov says that all the accolades he got from previously from Project Runway's Heidi Klum, Michael Kors, Isaac Mizrahi, and Nina Garcia inspired him and pushed him to, as Tim Gunn says,  "make it work.”

The complex, often hard to read personality of Sholokov made him a fierce opponent on both seasons, but it was again his raw talent that won the show.

He impressed many of this season’s judges including Orange is the New Black star Laverne CoxModern Family’s Ariel Winter, and Mystery of Laura star Debra Messing.

This season of Project Runway All Stars was the first to include previous Project Runway winners. In addition to Sholokhov, Season 11's Michelle Lesniak, also returned making this season's competition tougher than ever.

The award-winning designer celebrated his All-Stars win by launching his exclusive collection for QVC,. He’ll also get a fashion spread in Marie Claire and a position at the magazine as Contributing Editor for one year; a trip for two to a luxury spa resort in Cancun, Mexico plus product and staff for an entire year of runway shows from CHI Haircare; a cash prize of $150,000, and more.
