Clear Boxes with Ribbon

• One of the simplest and cutest ways to decorate a Chinese take-out box is to exhibit the colorful items within, and use only a simple ribbon to complement the contents. The containers are available in clear plastic or vinyl with a metal handle. These can be filled with Jordan almonds, or another colorful treat that will show through the sides. The color of the candy should complement the party theme colors. A piece of ribbon, either in satin or another desired material, can be tied to the handle as a final flourish.
  
  

Labels and Stickers

• Make a label or sticker with the bride and groom's initials, or with their names and the wedding date, to be applied to the front of the box. The possibilities are endless for this creation. Make cute flowers or other decals integral parts of the label, so the container is brightened. A simple white container can be made much more visually appealing through a simple stick-on decoration as long as it is classy and attractive.
  
  

Take-Out Box Cupcakes

• Spray the Chinese take-out boxes with non-stick spray, and place them in the oven with cupcake batter to produce interesting and cute little cakes for the wedding guests. They will not expect the treat presented in this manner. Decorate the top of each cake to look like Chinese food, or decorate them in a more traditional manner with cupcake icing. The outside decoration can be simple with only a ribbon on the handle and the box left open for the guests to see the treat.
  
  

Blooms On Top

• Present the take-out box closed with a satin ribbon wrapped around the entire box and a single bloom attached to the top. The flower used should have an open and full bloom such as a rose, carnation, hydrangea, dahlia or sunflower. It should also match the decor of the wedding theme. These are simple to make and most commonly hold candy or other edible sweet treats. The bloom will look cute, but is an inexpensive decorative option, especially if the blooms used are artificial.
