How to Correct Pixelated Images in Photoshop

1
    • 1). Open the image to edit in Adobe Photoshop.

    • 2). Click the “Blending Options” button for the pixelated layer in the Layers palette to view the submenu.

    • 3). Click the “Soft Light” option. The pixelation is minimized.

    • 4). Click “Filter” from the top navigation bar, and then click “Noise.” Click the “Despeckle” option. The pixelated image is despeckled. If the image is too blurry, you can fade the despeckle effect by clicking “Edit” from the top navigation bar, and then clicking “Fade Despeckle.”

    • 5). Click the “Filter” option on the top navigation bar, and then click “Blur.” Click “Gaussian Blur” and then set the “Radius” number at “2.0“ or less. Check the check box next to the “Preview” option to see your changes as you are making them. Edit the Radius number for additional or less blur.

    • 6). Click the “Image” option from the top navigation bar, then click “Brightness/Contrast.” Move the “Contrast” slider bar to the left to enhance the contrast and increase sharpness lost during the blurring process.
