How to File a Complaint With the Do Not Call Registry
- 1). Submit an online complaint through the FTC's National Do Not Call website or the FCC's Consumer Complaints website (see Resources section). Complete the online form with the requested information including your contact details and phone number, the date and time the call was received, the name of the company and its phone number.
- 2). Contact the FCC directly. The FCC can be reached toll-free at 888-225-5322, by fax at 866-418-0232, or by email at fccinfo@fcc.gov. If faxing or emailing the complaint, include your name, address, phone number, the name of the company or individual that called, and the nature of the call. Also specify whether anyone in the household had granted permission to the company or individual to call, and whether anyone in the household had previous business or contact with the caller.
- 3). Download and print the complaint form available through the FCC's website. Fill out the form and submit it to the address listed on the website.
