How to Operate Your Bobcat Loader Remotely With New Radio Remote Control System

    • 1). Pull up on the red knob in the center of the transmitter deck to release the emergency stop switch. Press the red knob down if you ever need to stop the Bobcat immediately. You can also kill the engine by tilting the remote transmitter deck over 45 degrees in any direction. To operate the remote-control Bobcat, you must always keep the transmitter deck level.

    • 2). Turn the key on the remote control deck to the right to start the Bobcat's engine. When the engine fires, the green strobe light on the Bobcat's remote receiver will begin flashing. Activate the "Press to operate loader" switch. The amber strobe light on the Bobcat's remote receiver will begin flashing.

    • 3). Press the button on the top of the left joystick to test your Bobcat's horn. Push the left joystick forward to advance the Bobcat forward. Pull the left joystick back to reverse the Bobcat. Push the joystick right and the Bobcat will pivot right; left, and it will pivot left.

    • 4). Imagine the joystick sits in the radius of the face of a clock: 12 o'clock is forward, 6 o'clock is reverse, 3 o'clock is pivot right, 9 o'clock is pivot left. Press the joystick to 2 o'clock and the Bobcat will move forward while turning right. At 7 o'clock, the Bobcat will move backward and left. Simply press the joystick the direction you want the bobcat to move.

    • 5). Pull back on the right joystick to lift the bucket. Press forward to lower the bucket. Press left on the right-hand joystick and the bucket will dip. Press right and it will scoop up.
