How to Attend a Milwaukee Brewers Game

24
    • 1). Look for discounted Brewer tickets through your employer, health club or local parks-and-recreation department. You can also log on to the Brewers website get a complete schedule of games. (See the link in Resources.)

    • 2). Purchase season tickets. These often include some very desirable Brewer games, and different purchasing tiers are offered. You can purchase tickets to only the number of games you want, and for the types of seats you're looking for. Start planning in winter to make a purchase in early spring, or as soon as game tickets go on sale. You can also split a season-ticket package with someone else to defray the cost. This is especially wise if you only want to attend a few games. The prices could increase if the Brewers have a winning season.

    • 3). Go with a group. Many groups offer a ticket, meal and transportation to the game. Tickets and food are often sold at a substantial discount off the retail price, and you will get to enjoy the game with friends. And if you take a bus, you won't have to fight for a parking space and pay hefty fees. There are also tour buses that will take you to and from Brewer Games. This takes the hassle out of going to the game, and you know you have a safe ride home.

    • 4). Arrive early: Parking spaces, no matter how costly, will fill up quickly. If you are looking to pass the time once you arrive, bring tailgate items like food, outdoor games, tables and chairs, books, toys, a grill, a radio and playing cards. This can be great fun.

    • 5). Bring nonalcoholic beverages in sealed plastic bottles, as well as sealed popcorn or peanuts, into the game. You will need to show these and other items in your bag or purse upon passing through the admission gate. This practice will save you a substantial amount of money on snacks and drinks.

    • 6). Attend on a day where there is a special event after the game, or food and drink specials, giveaways to the first attendees, or autograph sessions. These are likewise great fun.

    • 7). Go to the kids' zone to play games with your children. They will appreciate it, and it will help break up the amount of time they have to sit. You can also walk up and down the stairs or take a miniature tour of the Brewers stadium and shops inside it. Have the kids make a wish list (and don't forget to make one for yourself).
