Ortho Lawn Sprayer Instructions
- 1). Turn the lid of the Ortho sprayer to remove the top sprayer section and reveal the main container. Add your herbicide or pesticide to the container. The container will hold up to 32 oz. of chemical.
- 2). Replace the cap and turn it firmly into place until it seals against the container. You must tighten the lid completely or the chemicals can leak out.
- 3). Set the dial on the sprayer based on your chemical's dilution instructions. The sprayer can dilute the chemical from as little as 1 tsp. per gallon to as much as 8 oz. per gallon of water. Follow specific product instructions.
- 4). Attach the back of the sprayer to your garden hose. Make sure the hose is firmly in place in the sprayer or you could experience irregular flow.
- 5). Turn on the valve for your hose. Pull the trigger on the Ortho sprayer to distribute water and chemical. Spray until you have covered the desired area.
- 6). Detach the hose. Remove the sprayer lid and return any unused chemical to the original container. Do not leave the chemical in the Ortho sprayer after you are done.
