How to Put Santa Hats on Goats

32
    • 1). Prepare the Santa hat. Get strips of material or a scarf that is long enough to be tied from the back of the goat’s head to around his chin. Snip two little holes on each side of the Santa hat and secure the scarf through. Secure to the hat with a stitch or two.

    • 2). Entice the goats to you. Once the hats are ready, get the goats to come your way by offering some tasty treats so they surround you. They will be enamored with most any food, but the jury is still out deciding if they really do eat tin cans. Throw the treats down in a pile on the ground so you have easy access to the goats’ heads.

    • 3). Secure the hat in place. Bring the scarf tie attached to the hat around the back of the goat’s head and tie it under his chin. His horns should be to the side or behind the hat. Repeat with other goats.

    • 4). Keep them distracted. The hat will stay on the longest if you do everything in your power to make the goats forget it is there. If you keep them eating and playing long enough, they won’t even realize they have some silly thing on their heads.

    • 5). Clean up the Santa hat scraps. Once the goats realize they do have some thing on their head, better yet, a thing that can potentially be eaten, they will try to eat it. Clean up the chewed-up Santa hat scraps as necessary.
