Video: How to Get a Workout in a Crowded Gym
Video Transcript
Hi! I¡¯m Colleen Pio. I specialize in athletic injuries, and I¡¯m coming to you today from Body Construction Personal Training Studio. And today, we¡¯re going to talk about how to get a workout in in a crowded gym. You really don¡¯t need that much space. If you have maybe a 4x6 area, you can get a full-body workout without really needing a lot of equipment. So, for example, you can do push-ups. Push-ups are a great way to work the front of your arms, across your chest, some of the back of your arms, and a bit of a back workout. So, in a small amount of space, you can do push-ups on the floor and get almost a full-body workout. Another example would be crunches. So, that¡¯s a great way to get across your stomach and a lot of the layers of your stomach muscles just by laying down on the floor and crunching up. Again, you don¡¯t need a lot of space, and you don¡¯t necessarily need any equipment for it. We also have lunges, so that¡¯s a great way for you to get a leg workout. So, just by standing in a small ¨C in the same spot, you can stretch your legs apart by bending up and down. You can just drop down, and you¡¯ll get a great workout for your quads, your hamstrings, and across your rear muscles. So for example, that¡¯s a way to get an easy workout in a crowded gym without a lot of space. And, there you have it! I¡¯m Colleen Pio, thank you for listening.
