How to Make a Boudoir Pillow
- 1). Cut two pieces of fabric 1 inch larger than your pillow form. For example, if you have a 12-inch square pillow, cut the fabric 13 inches square.
- 2). Lay the two pieces of fabric on top of each other, right sides together. Pin the two pieces together along all four edges.
- 3). Sew the two pieces together along three sides, using a 1/2-inch seam. Be sure to leave the one side open to slip the pillow through.
- 4). Turn the fabric right side out, and poke the corners out. Slide the pillow into the fabric envelope.
- 5). Turn the open edges of the pillow toward the middle, and then pin closed. Use your needle and thread to whip-stitch the opening shut.
