Briggs & Stratton 394569S Installation Review
The 394569S Lo-Tone Muffler from Briggs & Stratton is a beneficial product that works well for all kinds of Briggs & Stratton lawnmowers that need help with reducing the noises that come out of an engine as it is being used. This is designed with a strong body that is particularly easy to add to the mower and should last for a while well after it is installed.
This is a muffler with a solid design that will stay intact well after it is installed. It is made with a thick steel body that does not bend easily and is coated well enough to where it will not be likely to rust.
The holes around the body of the muffler are also strategically placed to where they will create a solid body that allows the sounds and emissions to be kept in check. There is enough ventilation all around to make sure the mower does not put itself at risk of overheating or suffering from any other serious issues.
One of the best parts of this muffler is that it does not take much effort to install it onto a vertical engine. All the user has to do is screw the muffler onto a threaded opening located right on the engine's side. This can be done to create a secure seal that will stick around for a while and will not require any bolts or other fasteners.
The simple screw device at the back end of the muffler is particularly easy to utilize. It will not be likely to rust or wear out too easily. It will only be able to fit onto a 1/2-inch NPT though. It will slip off if it tries to go onto anything that's wider in diameter than this.
This does a great job with fitting itself onto all 3 and 4 HP engines. Some people have been able to use it on 5 HP engines but this varies by each individual model being utilized here.
It is also easy to use without adding too much weight onto the body of the mower. It weighs about five and a half ounces, thus making it easy to handle and maintain. The fact that it keeps its body intact without risking problems over how the mower is run particularly makes this all the more beneficial to use.
This Briggs & Stratton muffler will work particularly well for all kinds of engines. The 394569S muffler is strong enough to go onto a mower and will not be too tough to add.
