Neptune Dryer Troubleshooting
- 1). Latch the door so it is securely shut and ensure the power cord is plugged into a live outlet if the dryer won't work. Check fuses or circuit breakers if your first attempts are unsuccessful.
- 2). Check the fuses or circuit breakers, choose the heat setting rather than the air fluff setting and clean out the lint filter if the dryer isn't producing any heat.
- 3). Fill the dryer with smaller loads and ensure the outside exhaust pipe is not blocked if your loads are not drying sufficiently. Also, check to see that your washer is draining properly after each cycle.
- 4). Inspect the dryer for loose items like buttons or coins, and look underneath to ensure the rubber feet are positioned on the legs correctly if the dryer is noisy during operation.
- 5). Select the "Very Dry" setting on your dryer if you find seams and pockets in your clothes are not drying along with the rest of the garments. Sort heavy items such as blankets from lighter items like sheets to dry your load evenly.
- 6). Press the "Off" button and then restart the cycle if you see "PF" in the display. This indicates a dryer power outage.
