How to Repair Wipers on a 2003 Honda CRV
- 1). Turn your windshield wipers off and shut off your engine. Wipe away any snow, leaves or other debris that may be blocking the wipers. Use the plastic scraper to knock off chunks of ice.
- 2). Lift your wiper up and locate the small tab near the elbow joint where it fastens to the CRV. Squeeze the tabs on either side and pull the blade free from the wiper arm.
- 3). Inspect blades for signs of damage such as cracks or worn edges. Moisten a towel with warm water and wipe down the blades. If they are not damaged, reinstall them, start your CRV and activate the wiper blades.
- 4). Replace both blades if they show signs of serious damage. Buy a kit specifically made for the CRV with 21-inch, driver's-side and 20-inch, passenger-side blades.
