The Hoax of Anti-Wrinkle Creams Containing Collagen and Elastin

12
What if I told you that anti-wrinkle creams containing collagen and elastin are a complete waste of money?

In fact, a hoax?

You might disagree, even be angry. But read my explanation, and you'll see why I say it's what stimulates collagen that counts.

The idea sounds so reasonable: Collagen and elastin are two of the most important proteins in healthy skin. So what could be more reasonable than to buy anti-wrinkle creams containing collagen and elastin? Just rub it in till you have all you need, right?

I'm sorry, it just can't work.

This is scientific fact, not just my opinion: when rubbed onto the skin in a cream or lotion, collagen is useless. Topically applied collagen is not bio available collagen (meaning the body can't use it).

I apologize for the technical language, and I won't use a lot of it -- but a little is necessary to explain the science. And I want to explain clearly and simply why skin creams with collagen and elastin in them can't possibly work. The truth is, collagen and elastin are proteins whose molecules are too large to penetrate the skin.

Don't just take my word for it. You can verify this if you know a dermatologist -- or just go online and check any website by a reliable writer on skincare.

An effective skincare product must have at least one ingredient that stimulates collagen and elastin.

We can't rub collagen and elastin into our skin, no matter how much we put on. The collagen and elastin will just sit there on top of the skin till you wash or wipe off the cream or lotion.

I'm going to list some effective ingredients that actually work -- they stimulate our skin to produce more collagen and elastin naturally.

First, there, Cynergy TK. It's very new and not yet available in any of the most advertised brand names. It's in some cutting-edge niche brands and it has been shown in scientific studies to stimulate the skin to produce more collagen and elastin. In a study with human volunteers, it showed a sustained 14% improvement in skin moisture retention and a sustained improvement in skin elasticity of 42%, both in just 18 days. And Cynergy TK also proved that it stimulated the growth of new skin cells.

Another effective ingredient is Phytessence Wakame. (I know these are not world-famous ingredients, and the names might not be familiar.) This is a refined version of a sea kelp native to Japan. The Japanese have been consuming wakame both fresh and dried for centuries, and it's one reason Japanese women are known for such youthful skin.

You may have to wait years to find these in products on the shelves at health and beauty departments, but you can find them online now in a very few product lines.

On my website I'll tell you about other ingredients in a product that effectively stimulates collagen.
