How to Adjust Chacos
- 1). Sit barefoot or in socks with your Chacos accessible to you; if you plan to wear them barefoot, you should be barefoot, if you plan to wear your Chacos in socks, you should be wearing socks.
- 2). Hold your Chacos and loosen the main strap, using the buckle. Lift the flap on your buckle and move your buckle up and away from the outside of the shoe, causing the fabric strap to pull through the buckle until it is at its loosest possible position.
- 3). Insert your foot into the newly widened opening and place your foot, with sandal, flat on the floor. Make sure your foot is properly positioned against the sole of the shoe and position and nonadjustable straps that may have shifted while you put on your Chacos.
- 4). Hold the loose end of the adjustable strap, which should be tight against the buckle. Grasp the end of your adjustable strap and gently pull. Continue pulling slowly as the strap closes and tightened the shoe around your foot. Stop pulling when you have reached the desired fit.
- 5). Stand up with the shoe on your foot. Check your fit by taking a few steps. Sit down again, and readjust by pulling on the strap to tighten if needed. If you find that your shoe is too tight, sit down and gently and slowly pull up on the tab to loosen. Tighten and loosen in intervals until you achieve a comfortable fit.
