• 2). Register at the NYS Auction website to join their email list, obtain a password and user I.D. Check the property calendar for Chemung County auction dates and list of Elmira Heights properties. You must obtain approval from NYS if you are interested in online proxy bidding or webcast bidding. Bidding may also be done by attending the on-site auction location the day of the sale.

Identify the Elmira Heights property and Chemung County auction that you are interested in, and download the Internet bidder's registration packet or on-site bidder's registration packet, property brochure, information regarding pro rata taxes due and information regarding the bidder's seminar and early bidder's registration.
