How to Spend More Time With Your Children
- 1). HAVE DINNER TOGETHER. Try to have dinner together as a family at least most of the week. It's a great time to reconnect with the children in the family and hear about what's going on in their lives.
- 2
Make meals together
COOK WITH THE KIDS. Children like to help when it comes to making dinner. Even if they are doing a small task, it helps to build self esteem and allows them to be proud of what they helped to prepare. - 3). HAVE FAMILY GAME NIGHT. Nothing brings families together like a good old fashioned board game. A few classic favorites are Monopoly, Scrabble and Clue.

Popcorn's ready!
HAVE A FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT. Pick a movie the whole family will like and make some popcorn. - 5
Cheer them on
GO TO THEIR NEXT GAME. A lot of times, parents' busy schedules make it hard to attend every game, but make it a point to attend most games, especially pivotal ones. - 6). GO OUT. A lot of times, it's easier to just stay home, but it's important to build memories outside of the home environment and expose the children to different things. Try bowling, a visit to the museum or zoo, ice skating, anything that looks interesting and fun.
