Oral Chelation: Key to a Healthy Heart

17
Reading the statistics for heart disease in Western societies is alarming. Oral chelation is an effective detoxification treatment to eliminate one of its major causes. High blood pressure is the first indication of plaque build-up inside the heart arteries that leads to nearly 30% of all the deaths in America. This condition along with lack of exercise and smoking has made cardiovascular disease more of a threat to life than cancer.

Doctors use the term “cardiovascular disease” for any condition affecting the circulatory system. One of the main factors in heart disease, atherosclerosis or “hardening of the arteries” results from excess plaque and that adheres to the wall of the blood vessel, constricting blood flow and in turn making the heart work harder. Plaque contains heavy metals, “LDL” the cholesterol and excess fatty acids. These elements contain properties that corrode the arterial wall, creating deposit areas for plaque.

Plaque is formed by calcium carbonate, a non-water soluble mineral, that contains metal, limits the absorption of oxygen, vitamins, enzymes and minerals, leads to heart disease and can cause a blood clot to form which can trigger a heart attack. To restore proper blood flow, the surgical procedure of “angioplasty” can be performed: the insertion of a “balloon” to expand the artery and the placement of a “stent” to retain the opening is used.

However, heart surgery doesn’t address the root of the problem. Elimination of plaque and its heavy metals can be achieved by oral chelation. Chelation therapy is a detoxification process that binds harmful substances in the bloodstream to be flushed from the body through the urine.

Chelation therapy was developed in the 1950’s and has been refined over time. The appropriate form of the chelating agent “EDTA” (EthyleneDiamine Tetra-acetic Acid) that could be easily absorbed by the body was discovered in 1984 by Harry W. Hersey. Instead an intravenous solution, a liquid and soft-gel formula is now available. As easy to take as other nutritional supplements, with the ability to be mass produced, makes oral chelation a viable and affordable alternative to heart surgery. This breakthrough formula was developed by Goldshield Elite and is distributed as the “Original Oral Chelation.”

As a detoxification regimen from heavy metals, oral chelation has proven its effectiveness. However chelating agents cannot be considered a “magic bullet” or an overnight remedy to plaque build-up in the arteries. For chelation therapy to be truly effective, lifestyle changes such as smoking cessation and re-evaluation of dietary habits is advised.
