Are you suffering from a seasonal bout of depression? Maybe you are just feeling down in the dumps lately? Well there are ways that you can get help with depression all by yourself.
I will try to get some advice that you can start right away in this three-part series of articles on how to help with depression.
In this installment I will discuss getting away from all those negative people that you deal with in your life.
One of the quickest ways to get help with your depression is just to separate yourself from all those negative people that you come in contact with each day.
One of the fastest ways to get depressed is to hang around all those people that mope around everyday.
You know the kind of person I am talking about.
Usually these people are not happy unless they are complaining about something or somebody.
I know these types of people and I am sure that you do as well.
So start distancing yourself from all these Debbie downer's that you come in contact with each day.
Now you might be saying "Hey, I have to deal with these types every single day at work.
What should I do if I can't avoid them? No problem.
Keep your interactions with them to a minimum.
Do what you have to do when dealing with them and then move on.
 No more small talk.
So if you have to deal with Marge from accounting on something work-related, get the information you need and then head back to your office or cubicle.
Don't ask Marge how her weekend went or you might hear every problem that she ran into during her time off.
This will not help with your depression.
So start today by attempting to hang around with up-beat people as this will insure you get through the day without interacting with depressed people.
This will also start you down the path with getting help with depression.
