3 Ways To Cure Insomnia
For most of us, the inability to fall asleep, or to stay asleep once we finally go to sleep is a real problem.
It not only robs us of our nighttime sleep, but it causes us to lose our concentration and our ability to function as well as if we were getting that good night's sleep that we all desire.
If you are having a hard time falling asleep, here are 3 ways to cure insomnia naturally.
Drink Yourself to Sleep - No, I'm not talking about pounding back a few beers or a mixed drink.
In fact, drinking before you go to bed will actually hurt your chances of getting a really good night's sleep.
Instead, try drinking a cup of chamomile tea, or perhaps some other type of herbal tea, provided you are not allergic.
I like a tea that is called sleepytime, it works well for me.
Hit the Showers - Or, better yet try a nice relaxing aromatherapy bath.
Not only do you tend to sleep better when you are clean but the scents that come with the aromatherapy treatment will put your mind in a relaxed mood and help you to drift off into sleep.
Throw out the TV - If you like to watch TV at night then make sure that you turn it off at least a half hour before you go to sleep.
Try listening to some relaxing music or perhaps a natures sound CD, and for Pete's sake, don't even have a TV in your bedroom, that room is for sleeping and other bedroom activities.
