    • The Hyundai Elantra GT is classified as a compact car. It has an overall length of 177 inches, a width of 67.7 inches and a height of 56.1 inches. The overall wheelbase, the distance between the front and rear wheels, is 102.7 inches. The Elantra GT offers 13 cubic feet of luggage room and 95 cubic feet of passenger volume.

    Mechanical Specifications

    • The 2004 Hyundai Elantra GT came with a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine linked with a five-speed manual transmission. The engine produced 138 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 136 foot-lbs. of torque at 4,500 rpm. The Elantra is also capable of towing up to 1,500 lbs.

    Performance Specifications

    • As a four-cylinder economy car, you might not expect much performance, but the Elantra delivers. The car ran from zero to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds.
