The review not only covered older material relating to the occurrence, presence and pathophysiology of rheumatic complaints in endocrine disease, but also tried to present some new information on the prevalence and presentation of rheumatologic complaints. In addition it reviews the 'flip side' and presented material on the occurrence of endocrine disorders in rheumatic disease.
