How to Get Rid of Clutter at Home
It is said that a clean desk is a sign of a sick mind. But also, if you're an untidy person like me, it's truth that sometimes you get sick of your own mess and want to clean your home clutter and enjoy a clutterless living space... for one day. The secret to end home clutter is get some decorative storage boxes and use them to store all kind of stuff. There are many models, types and sizes of boxes and surely you will find the ones that meet your needs. Let's see which are the different types of clutter that usually it's found at home.
Depending on the part of the house where you are the way and where to store clutter, is different. A little kid's room is not like a kitchen, the same methods don't apply. Let's start right from the kitchen. Here there's something that can't be put in storage boxes and you will organize your kitchen stuff so that all is tidy but also easily reachable and available in seconds. The best choice for kitchen, which is also a nice way to decorate it, is use canisters. All kinds of food and not can be kept in canisters. Form sugar to salt, from coffee beans to ground coffee, herbs, spices, garlic, pasta and so on. Kitchen tools can be hooked up in racks, where they will be accessible and tidy at the same time or kept in bins, which also make a funny way to decorate your kitchen.
The bedroom is another area which is commonly full of clutter, due to the amount of different stuff usually stored in a bedroom (usually your personal belongings). The key here is choosing what you use daily, what you use once in a while, what you don't use. I would say throw away what you don't use but I'm reluctant myself to do this, so I'll just suggest to put it in a box and store somewhere where it's not bothering. If you have a pile of boxes, store unused items in the boxes at the bottom of the pile. Store in boxes on top of the pile seasonal clothes not in use, and in the closet, out of boxes, clothes you use. You can keep other kind of stuff in drawers or use more boxes, just try to store boxes in an organized manner though; boxes all over the place can add to the clutter too! If you have space on the wall, shelves are very useful too, everything that lifts stuff from the floor is good.
The bathroom clutter is usually make up stuff, towels and shampoo and shower gel plastic bottles. Make up can be put in a bag. It doesn't have to be a professional ncessaire. Synthetic plasticized bags like Macy's ones make perfect make up containers. Just put all the make up related stuff there so you can also bring everything with you anywhere you go. Use hanging shelves for the towels used at the moment and keep others in a closet, but a great way to store the unused ones is to enroll or fold them and use them as decoration. Put two enrolled towel one next to the other and another on top, or play with colors. This works best if the towels are same size and type. As per shampoo and shower gel I found dispenser to be extremely useful and very tidy. No bottles around, no overuse, no missing tops etc.
