Washington Wizards Tickets -time To Beef-up The Guard!

29
What else can you expect from a team that is placed last in their league? When a team is placed as the Wizards, you definitely cannot expect it to blurt out reasons of the one-odd bad game. It primarily is because of a series of bad games. You could blame that on bad recruitment or bad game planning. Otherwise, there is no valid excuse for a team to struggle with a win-loss record of 4-15.

Surely, things have gone absurdly wrong for the Wizards ever since the start of the season. Everything from their defense to their offense needs a major reshuffle. In this case though, the Wizards seem to have taken couple of steps in this direction. One is the induction of Mike James from New Orleans and two is Javaris Crittenton from Memphis. Both these guys are very strong defenders, who would do everything to stop from attacks coming their way.

Mike James brings with him solid experience of tackling some of the best opposition forwards. On the other hand, Javaris is one of the most exciting young talents on-court especially on the back-line. In whatever little experts have seen of Javaris, they claim him to be a back line player with attacking instincts. With that being said, they claim that Javaris knows he is in the team as a defender and would do all to do complete justice to the position.

Both on the start would mean the defensive line of the Wizards looks solid as a rock. But remember, even the best defenders crack under pressure, especially if their line is attacked repeatedly. In such a scenario, the Wizards forward line will have to do everything possible to raid their opposition as many times as they can. In doing so, they would not allow the momentum to build on their halves, which in essence would give these stalwarts some space to breathe.

Really, as of now, the changes look good and well-thought out. It could have been very tempting for the Wizards management to induct two fresh talent on the back line. But considering the sensitivity of the position and the criticality of the back line in influencing the game's results, the move of having an experienced guy along with a fresh talent makes more sense. Indeed, this is one combination that Wizards management would be watching with close interest.

The upcoming games of the Wizards will prove if the thought process of the Wizards management was right. So far, it looks like hitting the bulls eye, but any thought can be as good as its execution. If this plan fails for some reason or the other, then vultures would definitely be circling around one more time. The management of the Wizards would definitely not be hoping for that.
