Three Simple techniques on How to Remove Mole

21
If you reading this article then definitely you are looking at the one answer on how to remove mole. Unfortunately there is no single answer as it depends on the type of the mole and the location of the mole

Moles usually are there since birth and they occur over lifetime and it could be because of exposure of sunlight. Now not all moles need to be removed since some of just there without causing any harm to your body. However there are some moles which need treatment, especially you want to be careful about the moles which are there since birth because some of them could be cancerous. Having said that the best way to figure that out is to consult your dermatologist and get proper diagnosis

Now let's look at some of the methods your doctor might recommend for removing moles, I am only discussing surgical methods but there are some home remedies also. Not all methods can be used for all the moles, so let see what methods are available to remove a mole

a)Cryotherapy : In simple terms this method uses a gas to freeze the mole and then remove. Doctors use liquid nitrogen to freeze the mole and them remove it safely. The doctor might use a cotton swab or a spray device to spray liquid nitrogen at the specific area. The process is very simple and very less discomfort
b)Laser Therapy: As the name suggests a laser beam is used to destroy the mole. Basically the laser light penetrates the skin and destroys the pigments. This process is very simple, the doctor apply a anesthetic or not depending upon the size etc. however this might not work for all types of moles, the very reason is in the way laser beam works, if the mole is deep then light won't be able to penetrate the skin that deep so although widely adopted the laser therapy is only used for moles which are flat in nature

c)Excision: this is a surgical method where the mole is removed using a sharp scalpel. So as it happens in other surgical methods doctor would give local anesthesia and then remove the mole using a scalpel. After the surgery is done doctor might put stitches on the skin if needed. This method does have some discomfort and might leave some scars

There are other techniques which you can use for removing moles, the best way would be to consult your dermatologist for proper advice and treatment options. Some methods might be pain free but takes more time, for example laser technique is simple but generally takes 2 - 3 treatments to remove the mole. So ask your doctor about pros and cons and take an informed decision
