Plinking
Definition: Plinking is a term used to describe target practice done informally and usually not within the confines of a firing range. Typical targets include glass bottles, tin or aluminum cans, or other found objects. Some people choose instead to buy or build carnival-style plinking targets that pop back up after being hit.
Plinking is often done in a backyard or other open outdoor area. Participants often use small caliber rifles or pellet/BB guns for plinking but other guns may be used.
