How to Make a Quick And Easy Marinade for Steaks and Chicken
- 1). Prepare four steaks or four chicken breasts slicing them if needed. In a bowl mix 1/4 cup oil,
1 tbsp. water, 2 tbsp. vinegar, and 2 tbsp. McCormick's Monterey Steak and Chicken seasoning. Mix well. - 2). Place steak or chicken into the marinade. Cover the bowl and refrigerate overnight.
- 3). Remove the steak or chicken from the marinade and prepare as desired on the grill, stove or oven.
- 1). Cut long thin slices of steak or chicken. Slice one large onion and set it aside.
Mix in a bowl the following ingredients: 1/2 cup olive oil, 1/3 cup lime juice, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. cumin, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 1/2 tbsp. paprika, 1/4 cup vinegar, three cloves if minced garlic, 1/2 cup of chopped onion, and 1 tsp. oregano. - 2). Add one can of beer, the sliced onions, and the sliced steak or chicken to this mixture. Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight.
- 3). Remove the meat from the marinade and grill or cook in a pan on the stove. Place meat inside flour tortillas to serve.
