Buckleguard
Definition:
The buckle guard protects the underside of the flaps from being worn by the girth buckles. Some saddles do not have this extra little flap that simply slides on the straps, and is often not actually attached to the saddle. If your saddle flaps are wearing, you may try putting a buckle guard on the billet straps to prevent further wear.
