Past Lottery Numbers

49
Past lottery numbers are an important thing to look at if you like to play the lottery - why? After all you can never really truly say what the wining numbers would be otherwise we could claim to be psychic. The chances of someone winning the lottery are fairly small, although the chances of wining one of the smaller prizes are greater. The UK Lottery jackpot has a probably of 1 in 14 million and this grows if the jackpot rolls over. Therefore to increase their chances of winning some people study past lottery numbers just to see if there are patterns that occur and popular numbers that should be chosen.

Using the internet you can visit the official lottery websites, specific to the draw and they game you want to play. These websites will usually give you lots of information and tell you everything you need to know and you can normally search back into the past and find out what the past lottery numbers were. If you are good with figures and probability there's no reason why you cannot dissect these figures and work out what is likely to come out next. There are even websites where you can do calculations and some where people have already worked out what the chances of your numbers coming out again are.

Some website are very detailed - the UK Lottery website for example will tell you the numbers that were drawn, when they were drawn and also what machine they came out on. You could look at if certain machines tend to throw up certain numbers, although there is once again no guarantee to this. You can also analyse the draws midweek to give you different number combinations to the weekend. Once again this is varied.

People normally gravitate towards the numbers in the past because they feel that they will come out again. There is nothing to prove this is the case - if anything one can argue that a number that has been drawn many times has used up its luck and wont be drawn again... Never the less there are poplar numbers such as 7, 3,17 and 38 - one of the most commonly drawn numbers n the UK Lottery history. For example, looking at the draws for the UK Lottery, 2009, the Lotto games, of the first 5 draws the number 45 has been drawn twice and the number 39 has been drawn a staggering 4 out of 4 games. If you had seen this pattern would you play 39 again or would you think that the likelihood of it coming out again is rare? Either school of thought is right in its own way - proving again that its' hard to predict what is being drawn.

Once you have taken the time to look at past lottery numbers you will be surprised at the types of pattern that can occur and how things can be affected by your choices - why not give it ago and see if knowing what has been chosen in the past can help you in the future.
