    • 1). Loosen each of the wheel nuts with the brace. Put wood blocks behind each of the tires you will not be removing.

    • 2). Jack the car up and place on axle stands.

    • 3). Remove the wheel nuts and the tire and set them aside.

    • 4). Remove the worn disc by prizing it away from the hub with a flat head srew driver.

    • 5). Clean the discs mounting face, use a non-oil-based cleaner and be careful not to soil it with grease or oil. Clean the friction surface area.

    • 6). Clean the surface of the wheel's hub and examine it for damage.

    • 7). Place the new disc over the wheel mount stud on the hub. Secure the disc-fixing screw.

    • 8). Use the ratchet wrench to remove the caliper mounting bracket. Hang it from the undercarriage with the bungee cord to remove and strain on the brake line.

    • 9). Remove the brake pads from the bracket.

    • 10

Compress the brake caliper cylinder in the center of the bracket. Place one of the old brake pads over the caliper and press it down so it is flush with the bracket.

    • 11

Install the new brake pads by setting them into the slots where the old ones were.

    • 12

Assemble the caliper on the support bracket. Check that the dust covers are not damaged.

    • 13

Hold the piston close to the pads by repeatedly pumping the brake pedal slowly, without reaching full extension. This process will allow the pedal movement to return to normal position.

    • 14

Fit the tires back on the car. Lower the vehicle and then tighten all of the wheel nuts with the torque wrench.
