Do it Yourself Drywall Patching
- 1). Hold the open end of the toothpaste tube against the hole.
- 2). Push hard on the tube to inject toothpaste into the hole.
- 3). Smooth the leftover toothpaste from the front of the hole with your fingertip or a putty knife. Wait 24 hours for it to dry.
- 4). Use sandaper to sand the area until smooth. Apply more toothpaste if it has shrunk into the hole. Apply more toothpaste, as needed, at any time after that.
