How to Make a Ubuntu Boot CD
- 1). Go to the "Download Ubuntu" link in the Resources section of this article. Choose your country and click "Begin Download." Save the Ubuntu ISO file to your desktop for easy access. Note that this file is 690 MB and may take a while to complete depending on the speed of your Internet connection.
- 2). Open your CD creating software. Select "Burn Disc Image" from the list of actions. Locate the Ubuntu ISO on your desktop in the application's file browser and select it.
- 3). Insert the blank CD/R into the drive. Click "Create Disc" and allow the process to complete.
