My curiosity intensified following the expo as more and more golf enthusiasts heard about the newest white driver from TaylorMade. The rocketballz driver may be one of the best drivers taylormade has come out with in years. It is very easy to hit for the average golfer.

The RocketBallz driver, like the R11 and the Burner Superfast that preceded it and the new TaylorMade R11S driver, is white. The white matte finish is scientifically designed to eliminate hot spots or glare on a sunny day and it’s also supposed to provide a contrast between the crown and the clubface to help with alignment.

This driver had a beautiful black widow spider and web on the top of the head. I have really enjoyed this club. It hits as well as my old TaylorMade R11 Driver, and I am impressed with the decal that was professionally put on this club. The possibility of extra distance off of the tee comes at a pretty hefty cost - control. Inverted Cone Clubface Technology promotes more speed and distance on off-center hits and the white crown and black face makes alignment easy and eliminates glare on top.

Most amateur golfers already struggle with controlling their driver so I’m not sure adding extra inches to one’s driver is a good idea. I am ery satisfied with the TaylorMade RocketBallz Driver. When I have and use it a litle longer I may be able to comment on its performance more readily. And I am thinking of going over to Taylormade with all my clubs.

With the Company’s Flight Control Technology FCT, as it’s also known, you can tune the loft to increase or decrease your launch angle and spin-rate to match your swing. It has a lightweight shaft and grip promotes faster swing speed for more distance and the speed-enhancing head aerodynamics promotes faster head speed for more distance. Forgiving on off center hits and have gained about 10 to 15 yards in distance. I am about a 15 handicap and like the consistency I have with this driver.
