Great Ideas for Outdoor Fireplaces

15
There are many different places where you can set up outdoor fireplaces.
In the city or in suburban areas there might be regulations you have to adhere to from the fire department and if you live in the country you will probably have to contact your local park rangers to find out what you need to do, but there are many different types and styles that you can install depending on where you live.
In the back country If you are setting up a fireplace to set outside for a log cabin or another property which is a bit out of the way and used mainly as a recreational place, then you will be able to be a bit more creative and improvise a lot more with your outdoor fireplaces.
For instance, you can use bricks or stone to build a fireplace yourself.
These can be used to help protect your fire from the elements so that you can still use it for cooking or barbecues even if it's not the most ideal weather.
Believe it or not, it can be a lot of fun grilling meat when it's snowing and with certain types of outdoor fireplaces, especially if you set up some sort of a protective covering over the fire pit with adequate ventilation you can have a lot of fun cooking in the winter like this.
In towns and cities If you live in the city or a suburban area, you may only be permitted to have a smaller setup for your outdoor fireplaces.
It's likely that the fire will only be permitted to be a certain size and at certain times of the year, such as in the summer when it's very hot, you may also be prevented from lighting fires at all.
Make sure you check before you plan a barbecue because on certain days the government prohibits their use because they have the potential to start raging forest fires.
Forest fires have become an increasing problem in many parts of America lately so be careful that you comply with all these regulations.
Choosing outdoor fireplaces Ultimately, the fireplaces you choose will depend on the type of thing you'd like to use them for.
If you're going to have them for use a few days a year in the summer when the weather is good enough for a barbecue during the day or a campfire at night, then you will probably only want a small fireplace.
