How to Clean a True Flow Air Filter
- 1). Open the hood and look for the air filter compartment. It is located near the main fan behind the grille; there is a black plastic cover over it. Pull the cover up off of the air filter compartment to expose the True Flow air filter.
- 2). Pull out the True Flow air filter. It should slide right out now that the cover has been removed.
- 3). Hold the True Flow air filter over a trash can and gently shake the filter to remove any debris stuck to it.
- 4). Wipe down the filter with a clean, dry cotton rag. This is going to brush off most of the junk stuck to the filter; however, do not press down too hard because it is possible to rip the filter.
- 5). Place the True Flow air filter back into the filter compartment, place the cover back on and close the hood.
