Understanding How to Obtain a Vietnam Visa and Fees

14
Vietnam has grown into a very popular tourist destination with a host of quality golf clubs, spectacular resorts and great activities from exploring the forests and beaches to taking an elephant safari and more.

It's no surprise that more people are flocking to this country than ever before, the good news is that obtaining your Vietnam visa for your vacation is also a quick, easy and stress free process with two options to take advantage of.

The first option is to obtain your visa the old fashioned way which is through the Vietnamese Embassy in your country. You will need to complete your application and deliver it with your passport, which must have six months remaining and two passport photographs along with your fee.

The other option is to obtain your visa approval letter online, it's a cheaper, quicker and easier process which enables you to travel to the country and receive your visa stamp on arrival.

When looking at Vietnam visa fees, it's important to note that when applying online they exclude the stamp duty fee which is payable at the international airport in Vietnam. The stamp duty fee usually ranges from $45 for single entry for one to three months, $65 for a multiple entry for less than a month and $95 for multiple entries for one to three months. These prices are based on visitor visas.

As a single person traveling to Vietnam for a vacation, you can expect to pay around $16 online for your approval letter. This means that overall your entire visa only costs you around $60, which is cheaper than approaching your local Embassy. If you're after a three month single entry visa then you're looking at $44 plus the stamp duty fee of $45.

Multiple entries are the ideal solution when you want to come and go as you please, the online Vietnam visa fees are set prices which include a one month multiple for around $39 and a three month multiple in the region of $49 and then of course your stamp duty which is 65 for less than one month and $95 for one to three months.

Of course the Vietnam Visa fees you pay are determined by the company you choose to help you obtain your entry letter and their own service fees that they include.

How quickly you need your letter will also incur a fee, if you are willing to wait a few days then you may not have to pay any delivery fee, but if you want your letter within one working day because you've just been offered the trip of a lifetime, then you will pay in the region of $10, if you need it within four working hours then expect to pay an additional $25.

In addition to this some of the companies that provide the visa approval letter with the Vietnam Visa fee offer a fast track process for when you arrive in the country. After hours of travel, standing in a long queue and handing in your letter can be exhausting. These companies enable you to take advantage of their fast track process where a member of their team meets you and handles the process for you.

You hand them your letter, passport, photographs and stamp fee and they manage it all for you, while you collect your baggage and relax. These Vietnam visa fees are based on the number of people. For one to ten visitors it costs an additional $25 and for eleven or more it costs $20.

Remember to shop around to find the company offering the best services, including fast track to enable you fast and effective access so you can start your vacation within the shortest period of time.
