How to Buy Vintage Fisher Price Little People
- 1). Be aware of the materials they are made of. The two most recent materials that they will be made of are plastic and/or wood. The most popular Little People to collect are made of all plastic or have a plastic head and a wooden body.
- 2). Check for any chew marks on them. Since they were small, little kids and dogs loved to put them in their mouth and chomp on them. The brims of the hats were especially susceptible.
- 3). Examine the face of the Little People to check for missing paint. While many of them have their painted faces undamaged and fully intact, some are faded or are missing a painted eye or smile.
- 4). If you are buying a play set, make sure to check that all the decals are there and are in good condition. Also make sure to verify whether you are buying a complete or a partial set and that there are no small pieces missing off the main part of the set.
