    • 1). Remove the screws from the bottom of the door panel with the Phillips screwdriver.

    • 2). Pry the window switch out of the door panel with the trim tool. Unplug the wiring harness from the switch by hand.

    • 3). Remove the screw from behind the window switch bezel with the screwdriver.

    • 4). Pry the bottom trailing edge of the door panel away from the door with the trim tool. Look between the door panel and door to locate the trim pins. Pry these pins out with the trim tool.

    • 5). Lift the door panel up and off the door by hand. Use caution to make sure the inner door handle clears the hole in the door panel properly.

    • 6). Push the door glass to the top of the door by hand. Hold it there while you apply packing tape to the inside of the glass, then up and over the top of the door frame and down onto the outside of the glass to hold the glass up while you replace the motor.

    • 7). Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the window motor by hand. Unbolt the window motor from the window regulator and then from the door with the socket set. Pull the motor out of the door by hand.

    • 8). Insert the new window motor, bolt it to the regulator and door with the socket set and then plug the wiring harness into the new motor by hand.

    • 9). Reinstall the door panel in reverse of how you removed it and then remove the packing tape from the window glass.
