How to Train a Horse to Ride With a Breeze

36
Horses are one of the more popular animals that people love to train.
When trained they are capable of learning several tricks, both for show and even for fun.
But the best thing about owning a horse or being close to one is having the chance to ride it.
Many people get addicted to horse back riding.
While some make an effort to learn it can't be denied that there's some risk involved.
But the good thing is, horses can be trained.
Learning how to train a horse to ride may need caution but it won't be as hard after all because it's the horse's instinct to move when he wishes to travel.
So technically, riding is much easier to teach than those tricks that like a horse to a human.
How to train a horse to ride begins with training him on the ground and getting him used to a saddle and a bridle.
Let him feel and wear both for a few times a day for several days until he doesn't get bothered with it.
Once he's used to wearing something and having weight on himself you can take him out and train him to walk and halt; after which, try to climb on top of the horse.
If he doesn't resist then chances are he is ready to ride.
Now when riding, you need to focus on three things: teaching the horse to go, steer, and stop.
Most people think you need to whip the horse just for him to move.
But to train the horse how to go you just squeeze his body with your legs a bit or slam the rider's rope slowly to signal him to move.
To steer, pull the rope on the right side to signal him to turn right, and pull from the left for left.
To stop the horse, just pull back the rope, but not too much as it might start walking backwards.
Remember your horse must already understand walk and 'whoa' or stop if ever you decide to ride it.
After learning how to train a horse to ride, practice more before increasing the speed.
