A Comparison Between Green Energy and Natural Healthcare

43
While green, renewable energy ideas and technologies are not new, their growing popularity with main stream America is astounding and for good reason!  Going green has minimal negative consequences, it does not deplete natural resources, it meets present and future energy needs, it protects our air, land, and water, it has little or no gas emissions, it is safe, and it is cost effective in the long term.
Few would argue that "green" is a far better choice compared to non-renewable energy sources such as fossil fuels.
Here's something to think about:  How do green principles coincide with natural healthcare?  Natural healthcare can include many professions including acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, homeopathy, massage therapy, and reflexology.
Natural healthcare is most often based on age old philosophies and is growing in popularity among main stream America.
Natural healthcare has minimal negative side effects.
It looks for a cause of sickness and works with our bodies' natural healing system without depleting or negatively altering the body chemistry.
It meets a present need for relief of health problems and provides ways to maintain future health and prevent sickness even when no symptoms are present.
Natural healthcare protects the natural order of our bodies and replenishes the energy and nutrients we need to survive.
It requires little or no invasive, potentially harmful procedures or testing.
It is safe and, according to a number of studies, is very cost effective long term.
What about traditional medicine?  How might it coincide with non-renewable energy?  Is it based on tried age old healing philosophies or on new often experimental medications and procedures? Does it have negative side effects? Does it work with the natural order of our body systems or work to alter them to cover up symptoms? Does it provide a safe, effective means to protect our future health? Does it involve invasive testing and procedures? Is it safe? Is it cost effective?  What do you think?
