    • 1). Click "Start," type "gpedit.msc" into the search box and press "Enter."

    • 2). Navigate to the "Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options" folder in the left-hand pane of the Local Group Policy Editor window.

    • 3). Double-click "Do Not Display Last User Name in Logon Screen" in the right-hand pane.

    • 4). Click "Enabled."

    • 5). Click "OK."
