You Were Taught "Just Say No to Drugs" -So Why Give Them to Your Pets?

6
The prescription drug industry has monopolized the health industry.
These days you can "shop" on Television for a drug to treat (rather "suppress") an ailment or injury.
Yet, all prescription drugs have potential for side effects ranging from nausea and vomiting to respiratory problems and heart failure and are more than likely suppressing the injury or ailment rather than treating it.
Here are some frightening details: "On a daily basis, prescription pills are estimated to kill more than 270 Americans-more than twice as many as are killed in automobile accidents.
Prescription medicines, taken according to doctors' instructions, kill more Americans than either diabetes or Alzheimer's disease...
" Even the experts agree: "America has become "a grossly over-prescribed nation," says Dr.
Arnold Relman, professor emeritus at Harvard Medical School and the former editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.
"Again and again you see examples where patients get far more medication than they need.
The average senior in America is probably taking twice or three times the medications they require.
" Essentially, doctors are prescribing one drug only to create new problems for the patient with the pill's side effects.
So why are we freely giving prescription drugs to our pets? Especially for First Aid symptoms such as aggression, anxiety, bladder infections, flu, constipation, depression, ear problems, fur balls, travel and motion sickness, weight loss and for healing (among others).
For over two millenniums the earth has been producing natural herbs.
Our ancestors and their descendants used herbs effectively for healing purposes.
And animals that live in the wild care for their ailments or injuries by eating plants that heal.
It is essential in both emergency situations and in health crisis' that Western medicine is utilized.
Certainly an herb can't treat a broken limb and it is essential that emergency services are sought after.
However an herb may quite effectively expedite the healing process, with no side effects.
The only way to restore our power over our own health (and our pets) is to recognize that there are alternatives and it's necessary to remain open to them.
It could be a matter of true recovery or death.
