It is said that a dog will always love you more than your own self. But I am sure that you love it equally. After all, he is your best friend. Like humans, dogs too suffer from health problems. The only difference is, they cannot express their discomfort and will turn to you for help. Apart from these, there are other diseases like rabies which affect the central nervous system of your dog. It is caused when the dog comes in contact with other infected dogs. Canine distemper which is a kind of viral disease, parvovirus which is a disease that causes diarrhoea, vomiting and dehydration in dogs, leptospirosis a bacterial disease caused due to contaminated water and soil and parainfluenza which is a respiratory problem caused in dogs, are other diseases which are dangerous and could turn to be fatal. In most of these cases, there is no medication and vaccination and regular visits to the vet are the only ways of preventing your dog from incorporating these diseases.
Apart from these physical problems, the dogs, especially senior dogs suffer from psychological problems. These could cause confusion and disorientation in them.
