2011 Cat Picture of the Week: Sonsy
SonsysMom pulled out all the stops with her great story and advice, making Sonsy a "no contest" for first Cat of the Week for November. The fact that she is so beautiful was a bonus.
Sonsy, now 11 years old, was adopted as a motherless kitten, found wandering the highway with the rest of her litter, by a friend. She is a very colorful, graceful tortoiseshell girl, with the typical tortitude which belies her relatively small size. SonsysMom had had cats before, but Sonsy was her first tortie and her first inside-only cat. She had learned, as many other cat lovers, including myself, that inside is the only safe place for cats.
She is rewarded by the playful antics that are the mark of tortoiseshell cats, and Sonsy is rewarded by a loving Mom who caters to almost all her desires. A purrfect match, I'd say.
Sonsy's story appears in the Life With a Tortoiseshell Cats Show and Tell feature. After you read her story, you can read all the other tortie cats stories and/or submit your own tortie pictures and story.
