Dogs can do things for each other that no human can do for them. Dogs also naturally develop habits of where they would like to eliminate. Dogs have an ability to learn body language easily, and because of this, it is very easy to teach them signs for them to sit, wait, or come to us once they have learned to concentrate on our hands. Dogs enjoy obedience training because, finally, that structure that they need so much is now added to their lives.

Dog

There is one thing that makes the difference between a good and a great dog, and that is intelligence. A great dog can keep track of three and four marks without losing the first. Eyes are definitely an essential part of a great trial dog. What is not easy to teach is for a dog to be relaxed, confident and responsible. How many times have you excused your puppy's pulling on the leash by saying something like, "She just wants to sniff", or, "He gets excited when he sees other dogs? No matter how much you yank and pull and try to force your dog to walk with you, so long as it believes that pulling is a gateway behavior that could lead towards better things, your puppy will continue to pull, and in doing so it will continue to reaffirm that pulling is a necessary social behavior. Don't let your puppy become a problem dog. The single most important aspect of dog and puppy training is that you reward and praise your dog or puppy each and every time she does the right thing. The more time you spend with your puppy or dog, the quicker and easier it will be to train her.

Trainer

Don't necessarily go with the first trainer you speak with. For some trainers it's just a business and they'll make anything sound good for a sale. Examine the trainer's qualifications, facilities, personality and techniques. Focus on finding a quality trainer, not haggling over fees. The bargain trainer usually isn't one you want to go with. Experience is important, but looks closely into a trainer's background, listen to what they're offering, and speak with past clients. Always meet with the trainer before signing up. Never pay to meet with a trainer. A trainer should be happy to discuss their work with you for free. The only exception would be if you request the trainer to come out to your home to meet you.

Dogs are eager to please and, with the help of their obedience trainer, they are able to please their owners. Puppy Trainers are able to take the puppy with them anywhere they go as the dogs are service dogs in training. For some dogs, simply doing obedience training can solve a lot of behavior problems as it teaches the dog that you, the owner are the pack leader and he must listen to you. As well, often boredom causes behavior problems, as dogs require an outlet for their energy. All dogs, like people, need structure in their lives. Many dogs are confused about just what their roles are and what is expected of them. Unfortunately, many puppies and adult dogs which would otherwise make fantastic pets are deprived of proper structure and training.
