How to Unplug Wet Appliances
- 1). Dry any spilled water around the power socket using a towel or other absorbent material. This is to minimize the spreading of any electrical currents that could flow when unplugging the device.
- 2). Go to your fuse box and turn off the electrical flow to the outlet providing electricity to the wet appliance. This is purely for safety reasons to protect you from electric shock.
- 3). Wipe away any water on the end of the cord (the plastic part that plugs into the wall).
- 4). Grip the plastic end of the cord. Slowly pull the plug out and rest the plug on the table.
