You Better Write it Before Someone Else Does - A Book Review
Are you an expert in your field, and had you considered writing a nonfiction book? Well, if you don't know how to start, or where to start, or how to get the work published, then I'd like to recommend a very good book to you.
In this tome the author explains how you can self publish, or how you can go about getting a publishing deal.
The name of the book is; "Damn! Why Didn't I Write That? - How Ordinary People Are Raking in $100,000 per Year or More Writing Nonfiction Books" by Mark McCutchem, 2001, 2006.
In this work the author introduces over 100 book-titles that have sold over 50,000 copies.
Most of these books were how to, small business, self-help, cooking; and home garden and improvement.
Amazingly enough, people are making a fortune writing nonprofit books, says the author.
In fact, this work its self is a "how to book" for people who'd like to write nonfiction tomes, and it sold nearly a half 1 million copies, and it has been in print almost 10 years.
It just keeps making money.
The author suggests tips and techniques to writing blockbuster nonfiction books, as well as how to hook up with a very good publisher and editor.
He also talks about publishing companies that hire writers to write specific nonfiction works for which they believe there is a market, or in a niche that they specialize in.
Amazingly enough, this book is action packed with lots of information - even though there is no doubt that this author merely wrote the book to make a lot of money.
Of course, if your goal is to make money writing books, then perhaps, you should listen to what he saying.
In fact, I spent a good three or four hours at the bookstore one day reading this book in the coffee shop, and then I bought it and put it on my bookshelf in my writing library.
If you are a serious writer, and in the profession, this is a book I would highly recommend that you get for yourself as well.
Indeed, I hope you please consider all this.
