  Because of its warm climate and many natural attractions such as beaches, lakes and the Everglades, camping is a popular activity in Florida. The competition between the campgrounds has led to many of them creating their own websites in an attempt to lure visitors.
  
  

Jellystone Park - Madison

• Located in northern Florida in the town of Madison, Jellystone Park offers guests the option of staying on 160 RV sites, eight primitive sites for tents and 22 cabins that come with air-conditioning and heat. Of the 160 sites, 34 have water and electric, while 126 have water, electric and sewer. The park has both 30- and 50-amp electric connections. Recreational activities include a water slide that is open through the summer. The park also has a pool, a sand beach at its own swimming lake, basketball and volleyball courts, a game room, fishing and miniature golf. Amenities include bathrooms, showers, a camp store, a laundry facility and a snack bar with ice cream. Numerous planned activities such as hayrides and watermelon contests are regularly held at the campground.

Miami Everglades Campground

• The Miami Everglades Campground has camping sites for RVs and tents. It also has cabins that come with full kitchens and their own bathrooms. Features on the property include a large, heated swimming pool and hot tub, a grill area and a playground for the kids. Bikes are available for rent. The campground has 330 camping sites, 263 of which are pull-throughs with 50-amp electric available. The sites also come with patios and picnic tables. Located on the grounds are a propane filling station, restrooms, showers, a laundry facility, volleyball and basketball courts, a playground, a horseshoes pit, a walking trail, a recreation hall with a kitchen and a camp store that sells groceries.

Navarre Beach Campground

• The Navarre Beach Campground is on the Florida Panhandle and along the Gulf of Mexico. Located right on a beach, the campground has 135 full hookup RV with 50-amp electric available. Each site comes with free cable TV, patios and picnic tables. The campground also has cabins for rent---many with their own bathrooms and kitchens. A secure facility with a limited-access gate, the property includes a propane-filling station, washrooms, two laundry rooms, a playground and a pool with a hot tub. A video game room, a recreation hall with a kitchen, a fitness center, a fishing pier and a shuffleboard court are some more features. The property also has a grocery store and offers guest free overnight wireless Internet.
